Roles & Responsibilities: The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales operations within a specified region. This role involves executing and supplementing sales strategies, managing a team of sales professionals and achieving sales targets to drive business growth. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in science or an Engineering degree Ten plus years of core industrial B2B sales experience Strong leadership and team management skills. Preferred Qualifications Postgraduate / MBA qualification would be an added advantage Proven experience as a Regional Sales Manager or similar senior sales role. Key Competencies: Strong Communication skills & Customer Focus Sales Planning & Execution Expertise Data Analytics driven problem solving skills Strategic Thinking Leadership and Coaching Execute sales strategy in consultation with the Division leadership team to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence in North and East of India for a diversified customer base leveraging multiple ways to market. Lead, coach, motivate sales reps, providing guidance to help them achieve their individual and team targets. Demonstrate strong financial and business acumen to drive sustainable and profitable growth. Foster strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to ensure ongoing business and identify new opportunities. Major Duties and Responsibilities (General): Consults with Division leadership team to oversee the sales budget within their region, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve sales targets. Track sales performance, analyze market trends, and identify areas for improvement, providing regular reports to management. Create and execute sales plans to meet or exceed revenue goals within their region. This involves identifying target markets, developing sales tactics, and optimizing pricing strategies. Working with cross functional marketing / technical services teams, to meet assigned objectives. Demonstrates problem solving ability to determine best solutions for complex problems. Utilizes resources across work areas and departments to create solutions. Resolves issues and conflicts related to direct reports. Adept in using Salesforce CRM to manage client relationships, track sales activities and analyse performance. Ensuring at the same time the sales team s compliance with SFDC implementation. Responsible for forecasting sales trends, predict future sales and adjust sales strategy accordingly. Responsible in hiring and training new sales team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed. Coaching - explains sales plans methodologies to team members to ensure their understanding and buy-in Build strong customer relationships and negotiate larger contracts Actively participate in relevant corporate programs/initiatives, comply with professional and quality standards, comply with corporate policies and procedures, and acts in a manner consistent with 3M s values and ethical standards.
