Network & Datacenter Specialist

This role requires hands-on experience with managing LAN/WAN infrastructure, datacenter operations, network troubleshooting, patch management, and fault resolution in a live airport or similar high-availability environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and support 3-tier networks (Core, Distribution, Access) including Service Aggregation and OOB switches.
Optimize and maintain
airport IT infrastructure
: AODB, CUTE, CUPPS, SBD, FIDS, VoIP, WiFi, and more.
Provide L2 technical support, incident management, and root cause analysis.
Handle configurations, documentation, and performance monitoring of network devices.
Coordinate network changes, upgrades, and maintenance with minimal downtime.
Work with OEMs like Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Aruba, and Extreme.
Implement and manage BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VXLAN, STP, and other networking protocols.
Lead and guide junior team members and support training initiatives.

Required Skills:

Strong experience in
airport network infrastructure and system optimization
.
Hands-on with network monitoring, diagnostic, and analytics tools.
Good understanding of datacenter switching, VPNs, IPsec, and security hardening.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and handle critical incidents.

Preferred:

Experience working in a high-availability environment (airport or similar).
Project/Change Management knowledge.
Prior team leadership experience.
