Technical Assistant - States (Nagaland)

Type of employment: This is a contractual role under third-party payroll.

Job Responsibilities

• Drive GeM adoption across State buyer organizations and ensure effective utilization of the platform.
• Coordinate with Nodal Officer, Deputy Director and SAD (as applicable) to resolve buyer issues and escalations.
• Analyze bids and procurement activities on GeM & State portals for category availability, specifications, and compliance with GeM Guidelines, provide required guidance to the buyers accordingly.
• Identify untapped procurement opportunities and support capacity-building initiatives for State departments.
• Facilitate preparation and monitoring of annual procurement plans and ensure adherence to SLAs.
• Prepare regular reports and forecasts on GeM usage and procurement trends in the State.
• Handle communications, DO references, and circulars related to GeM operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address buyer feedback and strengthen GeMs value proposition in the State.
• Conduct presentations on GeM, its advantages and benefits, cost and time savings etc. to enhance adoption in in Nagaland. Professional

Experience

Essential:

• Minimum 2 years of total work experience in business development/Key Account Management/Monetization/Procurement.

Desirable:

Strong people and relationship management and leadership skills Capability to work in a fast-paced high growth environment

Candidate knowing local language will be preferred

Technical knowledge related to Products and Services

Experience in Data Analysis Familiarity with GFR rules, Procurement manuals etc. and government procurement basics

Educational Qualifications

Essential Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.

Proficiency in Nagamese and other local languages/dialects of Nagaland (Read/Write/Speak)

Preferred Post Graduate Diploma or Degree in Management with a specialization in any Domain from any of the top 50 institutes as per India Rankings 2024: Management published by NIRF
