Your role
Have you successfully planned, organized, and controlled all test activities? Do you have the know-how for achieving the defined test goals and implementing the testing? Do you want to be our test expert, making sure our application and technical environments meet the requirements?We’re looking for an Software Development Engineer In Test to:
- manage and lead QA team and take end to end responsibility of QA Deliverables.
- develop test automation of client applications for cross-platform and technologies such as UI, REST/SOAP API and backend automation.
- integrate QA Automation into the build and deploy pipelines supporting a drive towards CI/CD using Gitlab.
- evaluate and Implement new software test automation tools and tooling standards.
- share knowledge and expertise with colleagues and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities.
Your team
You’ll be working in the TS Quality Engineering Pod in the Application Access domain and be joining our Pune BSC office. Your IT colleagues will be based in Pune with business users across London, Zurich and Poland. As a Software Development Engineer In Test you will play an important role in ensuring the automation framework is followed and contribute to technical design discussions with the architects.
Your expertise
- you have 8+ years of professional experience as QA engineer and Test Lead. excellent knowledge of Test management tools like Jira, ALM Octane etc.
- you have Strong hands-on experience in test automation development using Java/Selenium. you have good understanding of RESTful APIs.
- knowledge of Karate API framework is preferred. knowledge of testing Authentication and Authorization flows using Oauth 2.0 is a plus.
- you have understanding of Postman or any REST API testing tool. you can develop automated tests and test suite using Java, TestNG or JUnit based testing frameworks.
- you are familiar with cloud infrastructure (Azure). knowledge of Performance testing tools like Load Runner, JMeter is preferred.
- you have experience in using CI/CD tools like GitLab. should have knowledge and experience of working with Agile delivery methodologies, TDD & BDD
- should be a team player who can collaborate well with developers, business analysts and other team members
- should be a strong communicator who can present technical ideas to team members and other stakeholders
