Job Description

Job Purpose
The Technical Records Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the Companys Continuing Airworthiness Management by ensuring that engine maintenance records, technical documentation, and regulatory compliance data are accurate, complete, and up to date. This position ensures the integrity of maintenance records and supports cross-functional teams in maintaining compliance with aviation authority regulations. Key Responsibilities Maintenance Documentation & Compliance Review completed maintenance documentation for regulatory compliance and completeness. Validate and archive work packages for inspections, repairs, modifications, and routine/non-routine tasks. Maintain detailed records of engines and major components. Records Management Scan, store, organize, retrieve, and securely destroy records in various formats (paper, digital, photographic, film, audio). Maintain archived document records and gate-wise document checklists. Ensure data privacy and secure handling of sensitive information. System & Process Oversight Collect completed technical documents before gate closure. Cross-check SAP closure of completed documentation. Monitor engine preservation status and alert relevant teams before expiry. Cross-Functional Collaboration Communicate effectively with internal departments regarding technical records and data. Attend and organize cross-functional meetings. Raise, issue, and distribute departmental status reports. Quality & Regulatory Support Support the Quality/training department in tracking and managing staff authorizations. Ensure compliance with company procedures and aviation authority regulations. Continuous Improvement & Projects Actively participate in Kaizen and other process improvement initiatives. Contribute to assigned projects aimed at enhancing documentation and compliance processes. Demonstrate a proactive and problem-solving attitude in day-to-day operations.

Job Requirements


Qualifications & Skills Education & Experience: Diploma or Bachelors degree in Aviation, Engineering, or related field. Prior experience in technical records management within an aviation or MRO environment preferred. Skills: Strong understanding of aviation maintenance documentation and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in SAP or other maintenance tracking systems is preferred Excellent organizational and communication skills. Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Work Conditions Office-based role with frequent visits to shop floor Must be flexible shift pattern working hours & ready to support operational needs.
