Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Identify and communicate manufacturing risks to customers and Hardware/Mechanical Design teams.
Ensure products meet all mechanical requirements, including boards, cables, enclosures, and systems.
Ensure compliance with Contract Manufacturer (CM) processes, industry standards, and statutory requirements.
Review customer ECOs and generate internal Change Orders for NPI and sustaining products.
Define the complete process flow of product assembly, including PCBA processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive products from prototype to mass production.
Perform root cause analysis and resolve box build manufacturing issues.
Coordinate with Mechanical teams and suppliers for tool development and validation.
Train production teams on process and assembly.
Support test requirement understanding and test development activities.
Prepare process documents (PFC, WI, PFMEA, check sheets, etc.).
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 standards.
Review PCB Gerbers in line with requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

6-10 years of experience in
New Product Introduction (NPI)
within the electronics manufacturing domain.
B.Tech in Electronics
with strong technical foundation.
Proven expertise in
PCBA processes, process flow definition, and assembly operations
.
Hands-on experience in
ECO review, BOM validation, DFM, and Gerber validation
.
Strong knowledge of
IATF 16949 standards
and compliance requirements.
Experience in
root cause analysis
and resolving manufacturing/box build issues.
Ability to collaborate effectively with
cross-functional teams
from proto to mass production.
Good exposure to
tool development, validation, and test support activities
.
Strong skills in
problem-solving, multitasking, and managing complex tasks
.
Leadership qualities
with proven experience in team handling, training, and mentoring.
