To power this ecosystem, we process millions of ad creatives, run high-volume scraping workflows, manage real-time data intelligence, and serve APIs at scale.

We are looking for a Tech Lead (Python) who can build and scale the core backbone of Quickads.ai—someone who can own systems end-to-end, solve complex data challenges, and set the engineering standard for the team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Backend Engineering (Core to Quickads.ai’s Platform)

• Build and scale FastAPI microservices for creative generation, ad intelligence, automation, integrations, and internal tools.
• 
  
• Develop reliable web scraping and data extraction pipelines using BeautifulSoup and async frameworks.
• Build anti-fragile scrapers that can handle DOM changes, rate limits, and anti-bot measures.

2. Data Infrastructure

• Build ingestion layers for ads, creatives, metadata, competitor analysis, and channel insights.
• 
  
• Optimize pipelines for speed, consistency, and cost.
• 
  
• Own data cleaning, transformation, enrichment, and storage models.

3. System Design & Architecture

• Make architectural decisions around scaling, caching, concurrency, event-driven systems, and asynchronous workloads.
• Improve system reliability, monitoring, error handling, and observability.
• Implement best practices around CI/CD, testing, and API documentation.

4. Leadership & Mentorship

• Lead 2–5 backend engineers, review code, enforce best practices.
• Break down complex business requirements into clear technical solutions.
• Collaborate tightly with Founders, PM, and Design to ship fast.

Required Skills

Technical Must-Haves

• 4-7 years of backend experience with Python.
• Deep expertise with FastAPI (or strong migration experience).
• Advanced web scraping skills using BeautifulSoup, Requests, HTML parsing, selectors, and optimisations.
• Experience with asynchronous tasks, queues, workers (Celery / RabbitMQ / Redis).
• Strong database fundamentals: Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis.
• Experience building distributed systems, microservices, and high-scale APIs.
• Strong experience with Docker, Linux, Git, CI/CD.
