Role Overview: As a Team Manager Power, Distribution, and Dry Transformer at INOPC-Transformers in Chennai, you will be responsible for handling various line functions operations, resource allocation, development of competence, and people development. Your role will involve collaborating with different factories, HUBs, Sales Units, and cross-functional teams. Additionally, you will be part of the local management team, acting as a sounding board within the organization. Analysis and risk management will also be key aspects of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor a team of Insulation & Components, promoting a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. - Efficiently plan and allocate resources to support global and local business needs. - Manage end-to-end sales processes, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards. - Implement task tracking systems, conduct risk assessments, and develop mitigation plans. - Provide technical guidance to the team and support the sales process. - Drive and monitor key performance indicators such as First Pass Yield (FPY), On-Time Delivery (OTD), and Efficiency. - Collaborate with global stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction. - Develop and execute strategies for scope addition, team scaling, and long-term capability building. - Create and maintain a roadmap for team growth aligned with organizational goals and future technology trends. - Identify skill gaps and implement strategies for competency development and career growth. - Conduct regular team/individual performance reviews and set development plans. - Lead recruitment and onboarding of new team members to support business expansion, ensuring Diversity and Inclusion within the team. - Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors/masters degree in engineering. - 10+ years of experience in Marketing & Sales functions, preferably in front-end sales, Tendering, or Order Management within the transformer manufacturing industry, ideally in a global or multi-location environment. - Proven experience in managing sales processes and working with global stakeholders. - Strategic thinking with a proactive approach to growth and scalability. - Strong analytical, organizational, and risk management skills. - Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building abilities. - Proficiency with CRM-Salesforce and Power BI tools will be an added advantage. - Proven skills in communication, PowerPoint presentations, Tendering Process flow, and Risk Assessment. - Strong interpersonal skills to manage team dynamics, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive work environment. - Proficiency in both spoken and written English language is required.
