Job Description

Job Title: Team Leader/Sr Analyst Chemical (Proximate) Food Lab

Department:

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of analysts in
proximate analysis
(moisture, protein, fat, fiber, ash, carbohydrates, crude fiber dietary fiber etc.) of food and feed samples.
Plan, allocate, and monitor day-to-day testing activities to ensure
timely and accurate results
.
Oversee
method development, validation, and verification
as per
ISO 17025
and regulatory standards (FSSAI, APEDA, EIC, etc.).
Ensure strict adherence to
Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
and all
safety protocols
.
Review and approve test reports, calibration records, and equipment maintenance logs.
Maintain proper documentation, SOPs, and ensure readiness for
NABL audits and inspections
.

Qualifications & Experience:

Master’s degree (M.Sc. / M.Tech) in Chemistry, Food Technology, Biochemistry, or related discipline.
Minimum
5–7 years of experience
in food testing laboratories.
Prior experience in handling
NABL/ISO 17025 audits
is preferred.
Strong knowledge of
regulatory requirements
(FSSAI, APEDA, EIC, Codex, etc.).
