We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager IGA operations.In this role, you will be responsible for programs, services and initiatives that protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets and works closely with all Global lines of business and application teams to enhance and automate key control processes permitting them to meet their objectives within their risk appetiteKey Accountabilities
  • Manage and continually build a global team of analysts responsible to provide support and guidance pertaining to the QA of systems to the bank’s global standard identity access management tool
  •  To assist IAM IGA function, Develop and lead a globally diverse set of staff with responsibility for both their delivery and development.
  • Provide oversight of designated tasks across the team and ensure all are tracked and completed to a best in class standard.  Liaise with project managers and key stakeholders of assigned projects, ensuring all assigned tasks are completed as per project plans.
  • Participate where required in relevant meetings and work closely with internal stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment on key initiatives.
  • Regularly engage with all Managers across IAM to continually evaluate changing requirements.
  • Identify, investigate and report potential security exposures of the business and recommend corrective action, maintaining ownership through to resolution.
  • Research, evaluate and identify Identity & Access Management enhancement opportunities to maintain or surpass industry standards, such as improved automation, simplification and globalization.
  • Adhere strictly to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with regulatory standards, policies and practices; report control weaknesses; compliance breaches and operational loss events.
  • Responsible for all people manager roles and responsibilities and ensure aspirations of each of the team member are consistently assessed and contribute to the overall growth of team members.
  • Ensure to conduct regular 1-2-1’s to monitor the performance of team members and to provide the needed guidance required to each of the team members to perform better day by day.
  • Ensure to maintain diversity and inclusion in the team and see to it that gender diversity is well balanced within the team.
  • Create a culture within the team in line with the HSBC values so that each of the team members feel comfortable to be a part of the team and to deliver their best.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience working in Identity Access Management is essential.
  • Strong understanding of Identity governance administration and associated controls
  • Experience working with stakeholders across all levels
  • Experience managing audit and risk relationships
  • Risk management experience
  • Role relevant qualifications, i.e.CISSP/CISM is desirable but not essential
  • Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. Experience creating and executing operational processes and procedures is essential.
  • Experience of making timely and rational decisions, based on relevant information and experience
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem solving skills.
