Job Description

1. Recruitment Planning & Strategy

  • Understand workforce requirements and hiring goals.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job roles and competencies.
  • Create recruitment plans, timelines, and sourcing strategies.
  • Forecast hiring needs and allocate resources accordingly.

2. Team Management & Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate recruiters within the team.
  • Assign requisitions and monitor individual performance.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
  • Provide training on sourcing techniques, tools, and best practices.

3. Sourcing & Talent Acquisition

  • Guide recruiters on effective sourcing channels (job portals, referrals, social media, campus hiring, etc.).
  • Personally handle critical or senior-level positions when required.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline.
  • Ensure diversity and inclusion goals are supported.

4. Screening & Selection Oversight

  • Review candidate screening and shortlisting processes.
  • Ensure interview panels are aligned and interviews run smoothly.
  • Validate candidate assessments and selection decisions.
  • Ensure fair, unbiased, and compliant hiring practices.

5. Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for hiring managers.
  • Manage expectations regarding timelines, candidate quality, and market conditions.
  • Provide regular recruitment status updates and reports.
  • Resolve issues or delays in the hiring process.

6. Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Standardize recruitment processes and documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and labor laws.
  • Identify gaps and implement process improvements.
  • Optimize use of ATS and recruitment tools.

7. Metrics & Reporting

  • Track key recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, offer acceptance rate).
  • Analyze data to improve recruitment efficiency.
  • Prepare and present recruitment performance reports to management.

8. Employer Branding & Candidate Experience

  • Ensure positive candidate experience throughout the hiring cycle.
  • Promote the organizations employer brand.
  • Address candidate feedback and improve engagement.

9. Offer Management & Onboarding Support

  • Oversee salary negotiations and offer rollouts.
  • Ensure timely offer acceptance and documentation.
  • Coordinate with HR and onboarding teams for smooth joining.

10. Risk Management & Problem Solving

  • Handle escalations related to candidates or stakeholders.
  • Manage dropouts, counter-offers, and urgent hiring needs.
  • Develop contingency plans for critical roles.
