Job Description

Role Overview: As a Sales & Tendering Team Lead at Hitachi Energy, you will have the opportunity to lead a diverse group of resources supporting different production & operating units of GIS & AIS products and HUBs. Your main responsibility will be to drive standardization, best practice sharing, and knowledge development among the team members to support all stakeholders effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the team as a line Manager, collaborating closely with the respective units/counterparts to define and align on individual goals, and lead Performance development discussions. - Coach team members and support their development to achieve business and career goals. - Regularly connect with counterparts, monitor & maintain the Key KPIs of INOPC for respective units, and proactively plan and hire resources as required. - Focus on the behavioral competence of team members and their further development. - Leverage best practice learnings from other teams and support in horizontal deployment of learnings in other teams after alignment with units. - Actively participate in continuous improvement activities and Quality Management System (QMS). - Ensure deliverables of the complete team and work on complex tenders/projects as an individual contributor. - Align with units and manage billing for the resources in the team on time and accurately. - Manage and support all administrative needs for team members (Leaves, IS, Office, HR infrastructure, etc.). - Ensure compliance with applicable procedures, guidelines, external, and internal regulations. - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for your actions while caring for colleagues and the business. Qualifications Required: - Graduate in Engineering; Electrical engineering preferred with a minimum of 12 years of experience. - Depth technical knowledge of HV Products & Transformers. - Minimum 5 years of prior experience in Sales & tendering related to GIS, Other HV products, or Substation projects. - Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Team Lead or Team Manager, directly managing teams & external stakeholders. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to align, agree, and challenge decisions in the interest of the business and collaboration. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive discussions for best collaboration with LPG.
