Team Lead - Cybersecurity

Primary Responsibilities:

This role involves developing and implementing security policies and procedures, managing security incidents, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of cybersecurity practices, and a proactive approach to managing and mitigating cyber risks.

• Audit, Harden and suggest mitigation on improving overall Cyber Security posture at Jakson Group Level.
• Develop and implement the organizations cybersecurity strategy and roadmap
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure cybersecurity practices are integrated across all business functions.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize cybersecurity risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and address potential threats.
• Lead the response to cybersecurity incidents, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Develop and maintain incident response plans and conduct regular drills to ensure readiness.
• Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices -ISO 27001.
• Prepare and present regular reports on cybersecurity posture, incidents, and improvements to senior management.
• Oversee the implementation and management of security monitoring tools and technologies.
• Develop and deliver cybersecurity training programs for employees to promote awareness and safe practices.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats to enhance the organization's security posture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity.
• Proven experience in developing and managing cybersecurity strategies and policies.
• Strong understanding of current cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.
• Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge in DPTPA act and Process implementation is preferred

Required Knowledge:

• Hands-on experience Network components Router, Switches, Firewall
• Have Procient with minimum of 3 years of experience with security incidents and analysis as part of the Security Operations Centre (SOC).
• Should have deep understanding and have minimum 3 years of experience with SIEM technologies monitoring and investigations.
• Familiarity with log analysis (host, network, rewall, IDSIPS) from any device
• Fair understanding of Cloud Architecture and O-365
