Roles & Responsibilities


Sales Leadership & Admissions Management

Lead and manage the admissions sales team, ensuring achievement of individual and team targets.
Own the complete admissions pipeline from enquiry generation to final enrollment.
Act as an Individual Contributor (IC) by handling key leads and driving personal conversions.
Set weekly and monthly targets for counsellors and track progress consistently.

Team Guidance & Performance Monitoring

Monitor daily sales performance, enquiry movement, follow-ups, and conversions.
Review call quality, call flow, pitch effectiveness, and objection-handling techniques.
Conduct daily huddles and weekly performance review meetings.
Coach, mentor, and motivate counsellors to improve productivity and conversion ratios.
 
Training & Process Improvement

Train new counsellors on sales process, call pitch, documentation, and enquiry management.
Identify gaps in the sales process and implement improvements to increase efficiency.
Ensure adherence to sales scripts, communication standards, and admission timelines.

Parent & Stakeholder Management

Handle escalated, high-value, or complex parent interactions professionally.
Build and maintain strong relationships with parents from first contact to enrollment.
Coordinate with Academic, Operations, and Talent teams to ensure smooth onboarding of students.
 
Reporting & Data Management

Maintain accurate and up-to-date enquiry, follow-up, and conversion data in trackers/CRM.
Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports with senior management.
Ensure data accuracy for forecasting and decision-making.

Required Skills & Experience

4 to 6 years of overall experience in sales or admissions.
Minimum 2+ year of experience handling a sales or counselling team.
Mandatory experience in **EdTech, Online School, or Education Admissions**.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet strict targets and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in basic Excel (trackers, reports, follow-ups).
