- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum framework.
- Foster foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking through age-appropriate teaching strategies.
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment that supports active participation.
- Regularly assess student progress, maintain records, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Address varied learning needs by adapting teaching methods and resources.
- Maintain open, professional communication with parents regarding student progress and well-being.
- Collaborate with colleagues, coordinators, and school leadership to enhance teaching practices and learning outcomes.
- Participate in training, workshops, and continuous professional development opportunities.
- Support the holistic development of students by fostering values, social skills, and emotional well-being.
- Maintain lesson plans, student records, and contribute to school events and activities
Skills, Qualifications And Experience
- Master’s degree in mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred)
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience at the high school level (preferably Grades 9–12, IGCSE /CBSE/ICSE/IB).
- Proven track record of academic excellence and student performance in board or competitive examinations.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and learning management systems for lesson delivery and assessment.
- Strong command over Mathematical concepts, problem-solving techniques, and logical reasoning.
- Ability to teach higher order topics
- Excellent classroom management and instructional planning skills.
- Ability to design and implement differentiated learning strategies to meet varied student needs.
