Job Summary:

The Taxation Executive will be responsible for managing all aspects of direct and indirect taxation for the organization, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, accurate filing, and timely payment of taxes. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external consultants to optimize tax processes and support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tax Compliance:
• Ensure timely preparation and filing of GST returns, TDS returns, Income Tax returns, and other applicable tax filings.
• Assist in the computation of advance tax and self-assessment tax.
• GST & Indirect Taxation:
• Reconcile GST input/output and handle GST audits.
• Prepare GST refund claims, resolve GST portal-related issues, and respond to notices.
• Direct Taxation:
• Prepare details for income tax assessments and scrutiny.
• Ensure compliance with Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) provisions, including correct deduction, deposit, and return filing.
• Coordination & Documentation:
• Maintain proper records and documentation for all tax-related matters.
• Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
• Tax Planning & Advisory:
• Support the finance team in tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities within legal framework.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and advise management on implications.
• Litigation Support:
• Assist in preparing responses for tax notices, appeals, and representation before tax authorities.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other applicable tax laws.
• Familiarity with real estate sector taxation, including RERA and construction-related tax implications.
• Hands-on experience in tax software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Tally).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
