Tax Trust - Experienced Staff - Cayman

As a Tax Services Senior in the Fiduciary Trust Tax Services practice at EY, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse array of projects, responsibilities, and tasks. Your role will involve supporting client engagements by participating in day-to-day interactions with team members, providing high-quality work, and ensuring timely delivery of services. You will serve as a trusted advisor and role model for team members, research tax law issues, and offer advice to help clients understand risks and potential needs for additional tax services. Key Responsibilities: - Perform tax research and provide written tax advice - Prepare tax returns including Simple & Complex Forms 1041 and state income tax returns for trusts and estates - Supervise a team of junior analysts to ensure timely and accurate production of tax information statements and returns - Manage long-term relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs to provide tailored services - Review and interpret wills and trust documents to determine fiduciary tax reporting requirements - Recommend proper tax treatment of transactions and ensure accuracy in tax reporting - Translate complex data into client-ready insights to support decision-making - Apply foreign tax treaties and foreign tax credits - Support the team on ad-hoc tasks and projects Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Business, Finance - Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional services or tax services organization - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, trust accounting systems, and tax software applications - Knowledge of taxation of trusts and estates, wealth planning, and fiduciary income taxation - Excellent organizational and communication skills - Experience preparing income tax returns with complex pass-through investments Additional Details: EY is dedicated to building a better working world by creating long-term value for clients, people, and society.
