Hello Visionary : As a part of Global Business Services (GBS) Cross Functional Services is part of Business Line Finance & Procurement Services. Lead GBS Cross Functional Service line encompassing Tax and Master Data operations. Drive comprehensive tax advisory and compliance services across Siemens Group entities globally while ensuring excellence in master data management. The role demands exceptional leadership in tax matters (direct/indirect taxes, international taxation, regulatory reporting) and master data operations (vendor, customer, and material master) while driving transformation initiatives and managing senior stakeholder relationships. We deliver maximum value to the business by driving process optimization and digitalization using our entrepreneurial approach, and we support our customers current and future business requirements with the help of our high level of process and automation competency. Change the future with us You will ensure implementation of approved finance and accounting and Taxation policies and procedures for assigned organizational unit(s), that match respective legal requirements - (i.e. HGB, IFRS, GAAP). You will liaise with our partners and customers to clarify business cases as an escalation point and analyze and drive innovation and customer centricity throughout the organization. You will be responsible of unit balance sheet, P&L reports, annual financial statements, and reports respectively to business management including results from various productivity measures and targets. You will work with the Corporate Governance teams of TAX, Corporate Finance, Supply Chain, etc. and actively seek feedback and drive compliant processes. You will ensure internal controls are in place, and accounting complies with all external regulations. Cooperates with internal and external Auditors as needed. You will manage teams of professionals and support staffs in different organizational settings, understands and drives digitalization topics pertaining to accounting and procurement processes. You will be responsible to ensure adequate quality standards and Business Continuity plans as defined by the respective corporate team in Siemens GBS and ensure we are always compliant and actively working on observations and recommendations. We don't need superheroes, just Super minds: You are a Professional in Commerce (preferably CA, ACS or equivalent) and have working experience/ knowledge on managing end to end Accounting and finance or similar processes. You bring 15+ years of experience in Finance & accounting field with experience of handling Commercial and finance related functions, Closing & Reporting and other General ledger functions. Should have worked with Tax & Finance teams and with business CFOs on accounting and finance topics including but not limited to Tax accounting, Vendor Master Data and other topics. You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, organization skills, and analytical skills You are someone flexible to work on all shifts and Agile mindset. You have experience in managing large and diverse teams with focus on cultural sensitivity and Change management. You should have demonstrated ability in preparing and implementing business strategies with measurable success rates (example- RPA, design thinking, other process re-engineering and digitalization initiatives).
