Role Overview: As a Senior Associate Consultant at Ryan, you will play a crucial role in providing client engagement support and coordination by assisting team members with various tasks. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all support needs are met, both for engagement and non-engagement tasks. You will be responsible for offering basic administrative support to team members and be willing to work overtime and travel as necessary to assist with projects at client sites. Your duties may vary depending on the practice area to which you are assigned. You will create a positive team experience by organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks, meeting critical deadlines, and seeking assistance when needed. A professional and positive attitude is essential, as you will be expected to be a team player, multitask efficiently, and adapt to changing priorities. Key Responsibilities: - Proactively update work status to the US/India liaison - Respond to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities - Conduct research on clients and industries - Maintain calendar appointments and deadlines - Assist the engagement team in preparing and distributing client deliverables - Create files for clients and projects using Microsoft Excel and Access - Handle various administrative tasks such as scanning, formatting, coding, and mapping client data - Download, print, and organize workpapers for review - Prepare emails, memos, letters, and confirmation requests - Gather required signatures on forms and letters - Answer telephone calls, take messages accurately - Make travel arrangements as needed - Maintain communications while the team is traveling - Track and report time and expenses in detail - Work effectively in a deadline-driven environment - Handle tasks with accuracy and timeliness - Safeguard confidential information - Quickly learn new procedures with minimal direction Qualifications Required: - Hold a four-year college degree from an accredited institution, with a focus on Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a relevant field - Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, and internet navigation - Valid driver's license required Additional Details: This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities and will involve standard indoor working conditions, occasional long periods of sitting and standing, regular interaction with employees at all levels of the firm, and up to 50% independent travel.
