Job Description

Sourcing and Recruiting:
Identifying and attracting qualified candidates for open positions within theoil and gas industry, often using various sourcing methods like social media,networking, and online job boards.Screening and Assessment:Reviewing resumes and applications, conducting phone screens, andevaluating candidates' qualifications and suitability for the role.
Interviewing:
Conducting in-person or virtual interviews to assess candidates' skills,experience, and cultural fit.Negotiation and Offer Management:Working with hiring managers to negotiate salary and benefits, makingoffers, and ensuring candidates accept employment.
On boarding:
Assisting with the on boarding process for new hires, ensuring they haveeverything they need to succeed in their new roles.
Relationship Building:
Maintaining relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and otherstakeholders.
Reporting and Analytics:
Tracking key recruitment metrics, creating reports, and identifying areas forimprovement in the recruitment process.
Industry Knowledge:
Understanding the specific needs of the oil and gas industry, includingtechnical requirements, industry trends, and hiring challenges.
Compliance:
Ensuring that all recruitment practices comply with relevant laws andregulations.
Talent Management:
Identifying and developing future talent, including training programs andsuccession planning.Specific Skills and Requirements:Communication and Interpersonal Skills:Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential forinteracting with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
Negotiation Skills:
Experience in negotiating salary and benefits, as well as managingexpectations.
Technical Proficiency:
Knowledge of various recruitment tools and platforms, including applicanttracking systems (ATS) and social media.Problem-Solving Skills:Ability to identify and resolve recruitment challenges and issues.Analytical Skills:Ability to track and analyse recruitment metrics to improve the hiringprocess.
Industry Knowledge:
Familiarity with the oil and gas industry and its specific recruitment needs.
Experience and Education:
Bachelor'sree:
Typically, a bachelor's & degree in a related field like Human Resources,Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
Years of experience:
Experience in recruitment, particularly in the oil and gas industry, is often arequirement.
Specialized certifications:
Some recruiters may have certifications in HR or recruitment, such as theProfessional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in HumanResources (SPHR) certifications.
