Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Acquisition Lead to drive end-to-end recruitment strategies for roles in the Banking, Financial Services, Fintech, and Capital Markets domains. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing senior-level hiring, stakeholder engagement, and delivering talent solutions in a fast-paced and domain-specific environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the full recruitment life cycle for mid to senior-level roles across BFSI, Fintech, and Capital Markets.

  • Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand workforce plans and talent needs.

  • Build and execute effective sourcing strategies using a mix of direct sourcing, Alumini, employee referrals, job boards, social media, and partnerships.

  • Drive campus, lateral, and leadership hiring initiatives.

  • Develop and manage talent pipelines for niche and high-demand roles in the BFSI space.

  • Collaborate with external vendors/agencies and internal recruitment teams to meet business demands.

  • Conduct regular talent market mapping and competitor analysis.

  • Use data and metrics to drive recruitment decisions, report hiring progress, and optimize processes.

  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Efficient end to end applicant management for each JR, including timely review and shortlisting of applications, promptly updating applicants and responding to any queries, arranging interviews & briefing candidates for interviews

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry-specific regulatory requirements during hiring.

  • Conduct preliminary assessments, as required, assessing candidates talents, fit and readiness and setting realistic role expectations

  • Complete identification, legal right to work and address verification during the interview process

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, learning from past failures to ensure constant control and governance awareness and prevent reoccurrence

  • Embed the Groups Valued Behaviours and Code of Conduct across the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with a focus on BFSI/Fintech/Capital Markets recruitment.

  • Strong understanding of domain-specific roles (e.g., risk, compliance, investment banking, treasury, wealth management, financial analytics, etc.).

  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and leading recruitment teams.

  • Hands-on experience with ATS systems and sourcing tools (LinkedIn, Naukri, etc.).Assist with the implementation of new software for the talent acquisition department.

  • Strong interpersonal, Communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders.

  • Exposure to employer branding and diversity hiring initiatives is a plus.

  • Ability to deal with high recruitment volumes as well as specialist vacancies with a specific focus on prior Technology & Operations hiring

  • Sound communication and influencing skills, ability to network effectively, establish credibility quickly and build sustainable relationships with candidates and hiring managers

Preferred Attributes:

  • Previous experience as a Head of Talent Acquisition or in a senior recruitment leadership role in a high-growth fintech environment/BFSI/Murex/IT .

  • Experience in implementing & managing recruitment-related data and reporting applicant tracking systems, and direct sourcing tools
