Job Title: Tacton CPQ Expert / Technical Lead

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Tacton CPQ Expert to join our team to manage and enhance our CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) solution. You will translate business requirements into CPQ configuration, implement custom quote templates, handle integrations with other enterprise systems, maintain product models, and support releases. The role demands both hands-on configuration work and some leadership/advisory responsibilities, including mentoring juniors.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand, clarify, and elaborate business requirements for CPQ enhancements each sprint.
• Design and configure Tacton CPQ logic — expressions, workflows, trampolines, and data governance rules.
• Create, customize, and maintain

  DocGen

  -based quote templates.
• Model products using TC Studio and administer product models in CPQ administration.
• Integrate Tacton CPQ with ERP, CRM, PLM, or related systems.
• Monitor CPQ production environment, manage releases, perform impact analysis on “Early Access” or new features.
• Mentor junior team members, review their work, and ensure timely quality deliverables.
• Handle configuration drift, production support issues, and escalation management when needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• ~6 years of hands-on experience in Tacton CPQ configuration and administration.
• Strong experience in product modeling (TC Studio) and quote template generation (DocGen).
• Solid knowledge of CPQ expression logic, workflows, data governance features.
• Experience in system integrations (CRM, ERP, etc.).
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented and used to meeting deadlines and handling multiple tasks multitasking.

Nice to Have

• Certifications in Tacton CPQ.
• Exposure to system modeling (advanced modeling / constraint modeling).
• Proficiency in JavaScript/Java for customizing or extending CPQ logic.
• Familiarity with PLM/CRM/ERP ecosystems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP).
