Job Description

Role Overview:

The Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and system software. The role ensures system reliability, security, and performance to support business operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and system applications.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery testing, and patch management.
Implement and maintain system security measures, including firewalls, antivirus, and access controls.
Support virtualization, cloud computing, and storage solutions.
Collaborate with IT teams to design and deploy scalable and secure infrastructure solutions.
Maintain system documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
Provide technical support to end-users and resolve escalated IT incidents.
Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh projects.
Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
