Responsibilities Design, configure, and maintain the GCP environment for the data mesh architecture project Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using GCP-native tools and best practices Create CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows using GitHub Actions for cloud-specific deployment models Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud infrastructure needs and align them with project goals Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of the GCP platform in a production-ready environment Develop and implement deployment processes aligned with DevOps principles Monitor and optimize system performance to address technical issues or resource bottlenecks Create and maintain accurate documentation for GCP infrastructure, processes, and workflows Provide technical guidance to teams working on GCP-based implementations Conduct research and suggest improvements to cloud architecture and DevOps practices Assist in security audits and implement necessary measures to protect cloud infrastructure Stay updated on GCP service updates and incorporate relevant advancements into the system Requirements 3-5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform and its services, including compute, storage, networking, and security Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure projects using GCP Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools such as CI/CD pipelines, with automation experience using tools like GitHub Actions Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management tools specific to GCP Background in troubleshooting complex issues and optimizing infrastructure performance Capability to design scalable and secure cloud environments collaboratively with diverse teams Understanding of modern cloud operational best practices, with a focus on reliability and automation
