As a Cloud Administrator (AWS), your role will involve installing, supporting, and maintaining both cloud and on-premise server infrastructure. You will be responsible for planning and responding to the performance and availability of services, with a focus on handling Kubernetes clusters of Linux on AWS. Your tasks will include: - Answering technical queries via various communication channels such as phone, ticketing system, email, IM Chat, or on rotational basis - Logging all issues and resolutions, collaborating with senior desktop engineers and IT management for problem resolution - Performing Linux Server administration and configuration for software upgrades and patches - Maintaining system security and ensuring system availability - Installing, configuring, and fine-tuning cloud infrastructure and virtual cloud instances - Performing on-premise to cloud migration and troubleshooting incidents, issues, and outages - Managing Kubernetes clusters by creating clusters, networking, service account management, and Role-Based Access Control - Working on scheduled tasks and activities, ensuring security through access controls, backups, and firewalls - Supporting cloud servers including security configuration, patching, and troubleshooting - Upgrading systems with new releases and models, monitoring performance, and maintaining systems according to requirements - Providing on-call high priority 24/7 technical support as necessary - Researching questions utilizing various resources and providing step-by-step instructions to users - Escalating IT issues when necessary and keeping users informed - Staying updated with system information, changes, and updates - Contributing to the technical knowledge base by adding or editing knowledge articles for consistency and sustainability - Participating and contributing in IT team meetings You should possess the following skills and experience: - 2 years of international experience in Configuration, management, and automation of cloud environments (AWS / Azure) - Additional 3 years of experience in Linux - Experience in Configuration/management of Elastic Load Balancers, auto-scaling, Virtual Private Cloud, Routing, cloud database, IAM, ACM, and SSM - Knowledge of Virtualization administration/configuration including HA/DR and Networking principles - Managing full Cloud Lifecycle, Provisioning, Automation, and Security - Scripting for administration and automation, setting up and administering multi-tier computer system circumstances - Monitoring availability and performance extent, charging, and cost optimization strategies - Managing disaster recovery, creating backups, maintaining Data Integrity, and access control - Debugging Kubernetes Failures, Kubectl Events, CLI, and understanding replica set and demon set - Following change management process, taking ownership of tasks through completion - Outstanding analytical and technical problem-solving skills, interpersonal and communication skills - Organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills - Ability and eagerness to learn new products and technologies, follow established policies and procedures - Good written and verbal communication skills, ability to multi-task efficiently Qualifications and Certifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline - AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solution Associate (Architect) - Red Hat Certified System Administrator / Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHEL 6 or onwards), ITIL Knowledge With 3-5 years of experience, you will be offered a salary ranging from 40k to 60k per month. Your qualifications should include a Bachelor's degree in IT or similar field.
