Job Description

Job Purpose

IT infrastructure management, system implementation, and network & system administration

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and administer IT infrastructure including

    WAN/LAN, servers, workstations, mail/print servers, peripherals, VPN, and data security systems

  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers for installation and configuration of

    hardware, software, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment

  • Monitor and ensure optimal functioning of

    PCs, laptops, servers, networks, and peripherals

    ; arrange upgrades, maintenance, and repairs to minimize downtime
  • Provide

    technical support

    for hardware, software, systems, and online applications
  • Perform

    system updates, security patches, and antivirus updates

    on servers and user systems
  • Implement and manage

    data backup and restoration

    processes
  • Troubleshoot system, network, hardware, and software issues; respond to user support requests
  • Track and manage

    IT inventory and consumables

    ; raise indents for replenishment
  • Create and manage

    user access

    including email IDs, internet access, and security permissions
  • Monitor

    internet and email usage

    and report misuse as per company policy
  • Implement and enforce

    IT policies, rules, and procedures

    ; ensure user awareness and training
  • Maintain IT documentation and records in compliance with

    ISO standards

  • Perform additional IT-related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in

    Information Technology, Computer Science

    , or a related field
  • Proven experience as a

    Systems Administrator or IT Support Specialist

  • Strong knowledge of

    LAN/WAN/MAN networking concepts

  • Hands-on experience with

    Windows OS, servers, hardware, and networking

  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues effectively
  • Familiarity with

    remote desktop tools and helpdesk systems

  • Knowledge of

    network security practices and antivirus tools

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to provide

    clear, step-by-step technical support

    (verbal and written)
