Job Overview

Structural Designer

Key Responsibilities / Roles

Design and analyze
PEB and steel structures
as per project requirements
Understand and apply
client standards, codes, and design concepts
Interpret
structural and architectural drawings
provided by clients
Prepare
design calculations, reports, and technical documentation
Perform
manual design calculations
when required
Use design software such as
MBS, EDS, STAAD Pro, and connection design software
Coordinate with design, detailing, and client teams for project execution
Raise technical queries to the
Team Lead
regarding project requirements
Communicate with
checkers
to meet project deadlines
Review and implement
client and checker comments
; resolve mismatches in markups
Take complete responsibility for
design deliverables
of assigned projects

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of
PEB and steel structure design & analysis
In-depth understanding of
structural engineering principles
Experience working strictly with
AISC standards
Ability to design
complex steel building systems
Proficiency in structural design software tools
Good coordination, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects
