This is a critical role for precision machining of aerospace components. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both operating and setting VMC or CNC Milling machines . Key Responsibilities Operate and set up VMC (Vertical Machining Center) or CNC Milling Machines Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job instructions Select and load appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials Conduct machine setup and calibration as per specifications Monitor machine operations to ensure precision and quality Perform in-process inspection using measuring tools (Vernier calipers, micrometers, etc.) Handle minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards Record production logs and inspection reports Collaborate with quality control and production teams to meet daily targets Required Experience & Skills Minimum 1 year of experience operating and setting VMC or CNC Milling Machines Must have experience in precision component machining Knowledge of tooling, speeds, feeds, and cutting parameters Ability to read engineering drawings and G&M codes Familiar with basic quality inspection tools and procedures Good understanding of machine maintenance and safety standards Prior experience in aerospace component machining is a plus Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Fitter / Machinist or relevant trade Candidates with experience in aerospace or precision engineering will be preferred Immediate Joiners highly preferred (notice period must not exceed 15 days) Why Join AdviseBee? Conduct regular inspections and measurements using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues with machine operation, tooling, or materials to minimize downtime and maintain productivity. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on VMC machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged parts as necessary. Report any maintenance needs or malfunctions to supervisors. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to regulations. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of machine settings, production output, and quality inspections. Complete production reports and documentation as required. Collaboration: Work closely with team members, including supervisors, engineers, and quality control personnel, to optimize production processes and resolve any issues that arise. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining preferred. Proven experience operating VMC machines in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures for machining operations. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy materials and machine parts (up to 50 pounds). Stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for operating machinery and using precision tools.
