VMC Operator

• Machine Setup: Set up VMC machines according to specifications, including loading materials, adjusting tooling, and configuring machine settings.
• Operation: Operate VMC machines to perform machining tasks such as milling, drilling, tapping, and boring to produce components within precise tolerances.
• Quality Control: Monitor machine operations to ensure components meet quality standards and specifications. Conduct regular inspections and measurements using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues with machine operation, tooling, or materials to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on VMC machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged parts as necessary. Report any maintenance needs or malfunctions to supervisors.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to regulations.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of machine settings, production output, and quality inspections. Complete production reports and documentation as required.
• Collaboration: Work closely with team members, including supervisors, engineers, and quality control personnel, to optimize production processes and resolve any issues that arise.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining preferred.
• Proven experience operating VMC machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures for machining operations.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy materials and machine parts (up to 50 pounds).
• Stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for operating machinery and using precision tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
