VMC Operator

Job Summary:

A VMC Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining Vertical Machining Centers to produce precision machined parts. This role involves setting up machines, loading programs, monitoring operations, and ensuring quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Machine Setup: Set up VMC machines with appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials.

2. Program Operation: Load and run CNC programs to machine parts according to specifications.

3. Quality Control: Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as necessary.

4. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating machines, and troubleshooting issues.

5. Documentation: Keep records of production, machine performance, and any issues encountered.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of CNC machining principles and VMC operations.

2. Attention to Detail: Ability to read blueprints, interpret specifications, and ensure precision in work.

3. Problem-Solving: Troubleshooting and resolving machine issues efficiently.

4. Experience: Prior experience with CNC machines or machining is preferred.

5. Certifications: Relevant certifications in CNC machining or related fields are advantageous.

Soft Skills:

1. Communication: Effective communication with team members and supervisors.

2. Time Management: Ability to manage tasks and meet production deadlines.

3. Adaptability: Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changes in production requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
