System Integration Engineer

Role Overview: As a System Level Software Tester at Emerson, you will be responsible for testing software products at the system level, from defining requirements to test execution. Your role will involve designing and executing test cases from a customer perspective, documenting product defects, validating repaired defects, maintaining test systems, and collaborating with technology teams to understand new product requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Define system level software product testing requirements and execute tests - Design and execute test cases from a customer perspective - Create and enhance test configurations - Discover, isolate, and document product defects - Validate repaired defects/faults - Configure and maintain large test systems and order new equipment as necessary - Gain knowledge and experience in software testing - Participate in regular Scrum events such as Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective - Work collaboratively with developers, Scrum leaders, Product Owners to support system level needs - Participate in agile best practices and a culture of relentless improvement - Work with technology teams at different locations to understand new product requirements Qualifications Required: - Knowledge and experience in a process control plant - 3-8 years technical expertise in system design, configuration, testing, and commissioning of Distributed Control System - Ability to quickly understand and evaluate complex and evolving functional requirements - Self-directed with the ability to meet challenging schedule requirements - Highly motivated with exceptional attention to detail - Demonstrates ability to solve complex problems - Excellent verbal and written communication skills Additional Details: Emerson offers competitive compensation and benefits programs designed to meet industry standards.
