System Integration Engineer

As a System Architect and Integration Engineer at our innovative UAS company based in Navi Mumbai, your role is crucial in developing the system design of complete UAV systems. You will work closely with Project Managers, Design and Validation engineers, and Cross-Functional Development teams to ensure the successful integration of UAV systems. Your responsibilities will include the following: - **UAV/Drone System Specifications**: - Analyze Product Requirement Documents and prepare Technical Specifications at UAV and Systems level - Create Technology Readiness Level (TRL) and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) - **UAV/Drone System Design**: - Collaborate with product design teams to define and design UAV/drone systems - Exposure to Fundamental Aerodynamics, Materials, and Process Engineering is beneficial - **Design Management**: - Prepare CAD Tree/Layout and integrate PLM/PDM with 3D CAD - Manage BOM Configurations, Weight, C.G. Matrix, GD&T, and DFMEA - **Validation & Verification of Design**: - Plan and execute Validations including Numerical, Laboratory Testing, Flight Testing, and Certifications - **Integration and Testing**: - Integrate hardware, electronics, and software components into UAV/drone systems - Conduct rigorous testing and debugging for optimal performance - **Software Configuration**: - Configure flight control systems, autopilot software, and onboard computers for seamless operation - **Quality and Reliability**: - Implement quality and reliability control processes from Concept Design to Series Productions - Verify functionality and safety of integrated UAV/drone systems - **Documentation**: - Maintain detailed documentation of System Integration processes, Design and System Engineering Reviews, and test results - **Collaboration**: - Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and deadlines As for the required qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace engineering, Mechanical, Electrical engineering, or related field - Proven experience in UAV/drone system integration - Proficiency in drone hardware and software, CAD and PLM Softwares - Familiarity with drone regulations and safety standards - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities In addition to technical skills, the company values the following behavioral qualities in its employees: - Commitment to common purpose and goals - Showing respect and integrity - Taking initiative, ownership, and being passionate - Maintaining harmonious interpersonal relationships This role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge UAV technology and collaborate with diverse teams to drive innovation and excellence in the field.,
