Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your systems engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You ll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.
Youll play a key role in ensuring the operability, usability, and maintainability of rolling stock, contributing directly to the safe and reliable operation of our systems. Day-to-day, you ll work closely with teams across the business (including project management, technical design, and maintenance teams), perform operability analyses, and much more.
You ll specifically take care of defining operational needs and analyzing source requirements, but also assist in the development of human-machine interfaces and operational use cases.
We ll look to you for:
Identifying the operability context of rolling stock to be developed
Performing detailed analysis of source requirements (customer requirements, norms, laws) within the operability context
HVAC and heat load calculations
Collaborating with multidisciplinary stakeholders to address gaps in operability analysis
Developing operational use case scenarios using methodologies like Day In The Life-cycle Of The Train (DITLOTT)
Verifying operability analysis outcomes through various verification means, including modeling and simulation
Providing Return on Experience (RoE) to improve standard solutions
Supporting operability-related questions and delivering local trainings as needed

M.Tech/B.Tech from a recognized university
Experience or understanding of system engineering on large-scale projects
Knowledge of railway operability aspects such as operational environment, infrastructure, and users
Familiarity with requirements management tools like DOORS
A background in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Systems Modelling Language (SysML)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple sites and cultures
Effective communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
