Job Description

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced

System Administrator / IT Infrastructure Engineer

to manage and secure IT systems, cloud platforms, virtualization, and networks. The role covers system performance, security compliance (ISO 27001), backup/disaster recovery, and user support to ensure reliable and scalable IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure and maintain operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and application software.

Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure for performance, availability, and reliability.

Implement and maintain IT security protocols, backup strategies, and redundancy systems.

Conduct regular system and security audits to ensure integrity of systems and data.

Administer and support core IT services: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.

Perform system maintenance and patch management to ensure compliance and performance.

Provide technical support for users, hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Manage cloud services including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace.

Administer virtualization platforms: VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, and open-source solutions.

Configure and manage enterprise-grade firewalls: Sophos, SonicWall, and FortiGate.

Administer Windows Server environments (2019, 2022, and upcoming 2025).

Configure and maintain antivirus systems and wireless access points.

Manage file servers, access permissions, data storage, and backup processes.

Administer and secure Linux server environments.

Configure and maintain Git version control systems.

Manage Layer 2 / Layer 3 switches, VLANs, and other network components.

Administer SSL VPN, IPSec VPN, and SD-WAN configurations for secure remote access.

Operate backup and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Veritas Backup Exec, Veeam Backup).

Maintain accurate documentation of all IT systems, network diagrams, and changes.

Coordinate with vendors and external partners for support, maintenance, and procurement.

Assist in maintaining and auditing the Information Security Management System (ISMS) as per ISO 27001 requirements.

6 8 years of hands-on experience in system administration or IT infrastructure roles.
