System Administrator

Job Title: System Administrator Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in IT system administration.   Roles and Responsibilities: Server and Virtualization Management Administer and maintain VMware ESXi servers, including creation and management of virtual machines. Monitor, troubleshoot, and perform capacity planning for VMware environments. Provide technical guidance and support to VMware users. Network and Security Administration 4. Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls, including VPN setup and maintenance. 5. Configure and manage Network Attached Storage (NAS) systems. 6. Troubleshoot LAN/WAN network connectivity issues. 7. Configure and manage network printers and shared devices. System and Hardware Support 8. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows OS, Windows Server OS). 9. Provide end-user support for software and applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Outlook). 10. Perform basic hardware troubleshooting and upgrades for computers, laptops, and peripherals. IT Infrastructure and Compliance 11. Ensure proper operation and recording of DVRs and CCTV cameras. 12. Manage biometric attendance systems, including employee fingerprint registration. 13. Maintain IT Asset Management records and support IT audits. 14. Support implementation and documentation of ISO 27001 processes. 15. Perform regular system performance optimization by clearing temporary and unwanted files.   Skills and Competencies: Strong knowledge of VMware ESXi and virtualization concepts. Good understanding of network security, firewall management, and VPN configuration. Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards and IT audit processes. Hands-on experience in hardware and software troubleshooting. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
