Role & responsibilities

Responsibilities of End user Support Engineer [L1]:

Hardware troubleshooting of Desktop,Laptop and printers
Installation of Operating system Windows and Linux
Procuring Backup and reinstallation of O/S with the same status
Installation of the Basic applications and Licensed Software
Configuration of licenses (Environmental variable settings)
Troubleshooting of basic networking
Installation of Printer (USB, Shared and Network)
VC Devices knowledge
Teams and Webex knowledge
In warranty machine contacting the OEM and raising tickets when needed
Basic understanding of Antivirus

Mandatory Skills of End user Support Engineer [L1]:

Basic Troubleshooting of desktop, laptops and printers [Peripheral Setup and Troubleshooting].
User profile setup, driver installation, OS updates.
Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel Teams.
Email configuration and troubleshooting.
User account creation, password reset, group membership.
Experience with IP address configuration, Wi-Fi Issues, LAN connectivity
Understanding DHCP, DNS and basic TCP/IP concepts
Virus scans, security patching, basic endpoint protection support.

Competency Requirement of End user Support Engineer [L1]:

Good communication skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities
Good planning, organizing and time management skills.
