Department: Automation & Site Services Academic Qualification - Degree in Electronics / Instrumentation / Electrical Engineering. - Diploma in MECHATRONICS from reputed institutions like NTTF. Work Experience - Minimum of 2-3 years experience for Engineer position in automation company involving process / machine automation using PLC/SCADA or DCS systems. Knowledge/Exposure - Ability to handle client, liaise with them independently, study their requirements, and propose/suggest suitable automation system. - Ability to independently develop software and commission plants/machines. Exposure to STL / LAD / FBD programming. - Knowledge & hands on work experience on the PLC/SCADA products of any one of the leading automation suppliers like Siemens, Rockwell, or Schneider. - Knowledge of VB or C scripting will be an added advantage. - Knowledge of communication protocols in automation system like Profibus, Ethernet, and Modbus etc. - Knowledge of electrical circuits, ability to work with LV motor control centres, interface of Drives to PLCs, etc. - Sound knowledge of field/process instrumentation. - Knowledge on safety and hazardous area classifications and prevailing standards on the same. - Knowledge/experience with programmable motor control parameters (variable frequency drives). General Skills/Requirements - Valid passport, able to secure visas for multiple countries without restriction. - Good command over English. - Good verbal and written communication skills. - Willingness to travel and stay at site for longer duration. - Ability to independently handle all communication with client as well as group offices on technical as well as non-technical matters. - Ability to manage oneself in a foreign country (International Driving License is desirable) - Ability to work in a team contributing to team goals & objectives. Job Description/Responsibilities - Prepare Automation Functional Descriptions. - Prepare IO list from PID / PID reports. - Prepare Network & Configuration diagrams for PLC/SCADA. - Develop PLC programs using STL / LAD / FBD for Siemens / Rockwell / Schneider Systems. - Develop HMI screens in WinCC / FT View / Wonderware etc., - Conduct PLC panel inspection / FAT at vendor’s place. - Conduct internal FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) for PLC/HMI along with Team Manager/HOD. - Conduct external FAT with group offices / Client along with Team Manager. - Coordinate with Electrical team for panel inspection/FAT and IO list preparation. - Coordinate with Projects / Process team during software development stage. Site responsibilities - Travel to site for start up and commissioning of automation systems. - Participate & supervise switching ON of electrical / Automation control panels. - Calibration of field instruments as per technical data sheet. - Parameterisation of frequency drives as per motor name plate specifications. - Testing & validating field wiring as per local & international norms and sound engineering practice. - Testing, evaluating & validating Safety Loops. - Validate earthing & grounding of electrical panels. - Installation & validation of communication bus like Profinet / Profibus. - Installation & validation of plant system/network architecture. - Installation of HMI computers/UPS and setting up the control room for plant operations. - Conduct IO test along with Desmet and client engineers. - Conduct SAT (Site Acceptance Test) with client and group office site engineers. - Perform sequence test & water trials. - Plant start-up, commissioning, and operation. - Training operators on plant operation. - Hand over of automation system to client and signing of automation acceptance certificate. - Updating all automation/electrical documentation ‘As Commissioned’ - Preparing weekly reports and keeping the Team Manager informed of the same. Roles & Responsibilities • Manage day-to-day store operations, including material receipt (inward) and issue (outward) • Maintain accurate material inventory records and track daily consumption • Prepare and update stock summaries and reports with correct attributes • Handle Goods Receipt Note (GRN), material codes, WBS, and plant code formalities • Execute material transfer postings and ensure compliance with company procedures • Apply FIFO & LIFO methods for stock movement • Oversee proper material handling and storage practices • Conduct monthly stock verification, inventory audits, and reconciliation • Coordinate effectively with suppliers, internal teams, and other departments to ensure smooth material flow Requirements • Education: Any Graduate / Diploma / B.Com (preferably with technical background or relevant experience) • Experience: 1–3 years, preferably in the manufacturing industry • Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and ERP processes (GRN, material posting, etc.) • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access) • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy and responsibility • Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and a strong team player
