Supervise and manage extrusion press activities including billet loading die setup extrusion and handlingbr Ensure safe and efficient operation of the press as per the standard process parametersbr Execute daily and shiftwise production plans in alignment with delivery schedulesbr Monitor production output and ensure achievement of production targets with minimal downtimebr Monitor critical process parameters temperature pressure speed extrusion ratio etcbr Adjust machine settings to improve productivity reduce cycle time and minimize material wastebr Supervise die installation and removal ensuring correct alignment and secure clampingbr Coordinate with the die shop for timely die availability reconditioning and maintenancebr Identify and resolve process or equipmentrelated issues eg die jamming poor surface finish dimensional variationbr Analyze root causes of pressrelated defects and implement corrective actionsbr Ensure products meet dimensional and surface quality standards as per customer requirementsbr Coordinate with the quality team to address deviations and reduce rejection ratesbr Work closely with the maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance of the extrusion press and auxiliary equipmentbr Report abnormalities in press behavior or hydraulicselectrical systemsbr Maintain production records die usage logs downtime reports and shift summaries
