Supply Executive

You will be part of the supply management team at Cogoport, where your role will involve procuring rates and managing negotiations with local and international suppliers for Ocean and Air shipments. Your responsibilities will include: - Connecting with local and international suppliers to procure rates and rate sheets. - Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to handle booking/space related escalations. - Managing correct sailing schedules for services like Ocean Shipping and Air Freight. - Communicating with stakeholders across functions to ensure data accuracy. - For Team Leads, suggesting changes to optimize the rate management process. To be successful in this role, you should have: - Educational Background: Minimum graduate/diploma in any stream. - Work Experience: 0-3 years of experience in a similar role in logistics or any industry. Must Have Skills: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Outstanding interpersonal skills for effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Things that make a difference: - Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. - Strong multitasking ability with attention to detail. - Above-average time management and organizational skills. - Proficiency in basic functions of MS Excel and MS Word.
