Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the entire pharmacy supply chain operations procurement, inventory, distribution, and vendor management.
Ensure timely availability of medicines and consumables across all pharmacy outlets and hospital units.
Negotiate and maintain contracts with pharmaceutical suppliers, vendors, and distributors.
Implement and monitor stock management systems to reduce wastage, pilferage, and expiry losses.
Coordinate with the finance team for purchase planning and cost control.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to drugs and medical supplies.
Prepare reports and analyse data to forecast needs and optimize stock levels.
Supervise the logistics process — inward/outward flow, stock dispatch, and inter-branch transfers.
Train and guide pharmacy and logistics staff on inventory and supply chain best practices.

Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and drug procurement.
Hands-on experience with ERP or inventory management software.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Leadership and team management abilities.
Understanding of pharma regulations and supply chain standards.
