Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the entire pharmacy supply chain operations procurement, inventory, distribution, and vendor management.
  • Ensure timely availability of medicines and consumables across all pharmacy outlets and hospital units.
  • Negotiate and maintain contracts with pharmaceutical suppliers, vendors, and distributors.
  • Implement and monitor stock management systems to reduce wastage, pilferage, and expiry losses.
  • Coordinate with the finance team for purchase planning and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to drugs and medical supplies.
  • Prepare reports and analyse data to forecast needs and optimize stock levels.
  • Supervise the logistics process — inward/outward flow, stock dispatch, and inter-branch transfers.
  • Train and guide pharmacy and logistics staff on inventory and supply chain best practices.

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and drug procurement.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP or inventory management software.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Leadership and team management abilities.
  • Understanding of pharma regulations and supply chain standards.
