Supply Chain Manager

You will be responsible for developing and implementing supply chain strategies that align with the business goals. Your role will involve overseeing procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution. You will analyze supply chain data to identify improvement opportunities and negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms. Monitoring supplier performance, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and forecasting demand to avoid stockouts are crucial aspects of your responsibilities. Collaborating with internal departments and leading a team of supply chain staff will also be part of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals. - Oversee procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution. - Analyze supply chain data and performance to identify improvement opportunities. - Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms. - Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships. - Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies. - Forecast demand and plan inventory to avoid stockouts or excess. - Collaborate with internal departments including production, sales, and finance. - Lead and manage a team of supply chain staff and coordinate training. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. - Proven experience (2+ years) as a Supply Chain Manager or in a similar role. - Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). - Strong communication and negotiation skills. - Certification in supply chain (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
