Supply Chain Analyst

As an Assistant Manager - Mechanical Commodity at Flex, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with Global Commodity Managers to drive cost reductions and manage supplier relationships within assigned commodities on a global scale. Your responsibilities will include understanding the Global & Regional Mechanical commodity and its supplier base thoroughly, working closely with Engineering to influence technical design decisions, and developing commodity/supplier strategies" technology roadmaps. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with Global Commodity Managers to drive cost reductions - Manage all supplier relationships within assigned commodities globally - Work closely with Engineering to influence technical design decisions - Develop commodity/supplier strategies" technology roadmaps - Ensure a competitive sourcing environment leading to continuous improvement in quality, cost, service, and technology - Set category strategies, goals, and KPIs to optimize spend, reduce risk, and improve supplier performance - Ensure timely updation of all Commodity influenced databases for financial/product cost tracking and analytics - Execute strategic sourcing partnerships to deliver on cost reduction, spend consolidation, improved DPO, Inventory, and improved quality - Pull reports from MicroStrategy and Kinaxis to identify opportunities to improve PPV and CR Qualifications Required: - BE in Mechanical (or related Engineering) - MBA in supply chain/operations management is an advantage - Strong knowledge about mechanical commodities - Experience working in Auto/Manufacturing industry - Expert in English Communication and presentation skills - Good Knowledge on MS Office tools, MicroStrategy, Kinaxis preferred - Strong analytical skills and logical thinking - Expertise to work on should cost Model, PCB Gerber evaluation, and other cost models Flex is a diversified manufacturing partner that values diversity and inclusion, creating a workplace culture of belonging.
