Supply Chain Analyst

As an Assistant Manager - Mechanical Commodity at Flex in Chennai, India, your role will involve collaborating with Global Commodity Managers to drive cost reductions and managing all supplier relationships within assigned commodities. You will work closely with Engineering to influence technical design decisions, develop commodity/supplier strategies, and ensure a competitive sourcing environment for continuous improvement in quality, cost, service, and technology. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with Global Commodity Managers to drive cost reductions - Manage all supplier relationships within assigned commodities, globally - Work closely with Engineering to influence technical design decisions - Develop commodity/supplier strategy's technology roadmaps - Ensure a competitive sourcing environment for continuous improvement - Set category strategies, goals, and KPIs to optimize spend and reduce risk - Influence business partner strategy and decision making through market intel and data insights - Ensure timely updation of all commodity influenced databases - Execute strategic sourcing partnerships for cost reduction and improved quality - Utilize MicroStrategy and Kinaxis to identify opportunities for improvement - Passion for continuous improvement in processes Qualifications Required: - BE in Mechanical (or related Engineering) - MBA in supply chain/operations management is an advantage - Strong knowledge about mechanical commodities - Experience working in Auto/Manufacturing industry - Expert in English Communication and presentation skills - Good Knowledge on MS Office tools, MicroStrategy, Kinaxis preferred - Strong analytical skills and logical thinking - Expertise to work on should cost Model, PCB Gerber evaluation, and other cost models If you are excited about this role and have the required qualifications, we encourage you to apply and be a part of our extraordinary team at Flex.
