Supervisor/Incharge

Shift Supervisor Reporting To: Site Manager / Retail Area Manager --- Job Purpose To lead and supervise the team during assigned shifts, ensure safe and efficient site operations, deliver outstanding customer service, and achieve business performance targets. --- Key Responsibilities Supervise daily forecourt, cashier, and café operations during the shift. Ensure compliance with HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) standards at all times. Monitor fueling activities, cashiering, and product handling to maintain accuracy and safety. Guide, support, and motivate Customer Service Associates (CSAs) and Baristas on shift. Handle shift scheduling, task allocation, and workforce planning. Ensure proper cash handling, daily reconciliation, and timely reporting. Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly with professionalism. Conduct shift handovers with clear updates on sales, safety, and stock. Promote Shell offers, loyalty programs, and upselling of fuels, lubricants, and café products. Maintain site cleanliness, stock levels, and adherence to Shell brand standards. --- Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and people management skills. Good communication and conflict-handling ability. Customer-centric mindset with problem-solving skills. Knowledge of cash handling, POS, and stock management. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Integrity, discipline, and accountability. --- Qualifications & Experience Minimum 12th pass (Graduate preferred). 1–3 years of supervisory experience in retail, QSR, or fuel station preferred. Familiarity with safety and compliance practices is an advantage. Training in Shell standards will be provided. --- Work Conditions Shift-based role including weekends and public holidays. Requires standing for long hours and managing outdoor forecourt activities. Uniform and grooming standards as per Shell and Avighna policies.
