About your new role

Position: Study Abroad Counsellor 

Experience Required: Minimum 6 months in overseas education counselling 

Location: Gurugram, India 

Employment Type: Full-time 

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students on study opportunities in overseas countries, including course selection, university options, admission processes, and visa guidance.
• Provide end-to-end admission assistance with a strong focus on public universities/institutes.
• Guide students on admission requirements, application documentation, and scholarship opportunities. Maintain updated knowledge of admission criteria, processes, and deadlines for institutions.
• Handle student queries via calls, emails, and counselling sessions (virtual/in-person).
• Track and follow up with student applications to ensure timely submission and conversions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth student experience from counselling to admission.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of counselling experience in study abroad domain (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge and experience in admissions to universities (public universities preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand student needs and provide customized solutions.
• Familiarity with visa processes for will be an added advantage.
• Goal-oriented and proactive in achieving student admission targets.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Education, Management, or a related field.
• Experience in handling applications for public institutes.
• Knowledge of overseas education system, popular courses, and career pathways.
