Structural Simulation Engineer

About the job We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Simulation Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing finite element analysis (FEA) to validate and optimize the design of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural mechanics and hands-on experience with ANSYS Mechanical , along with proficiency in CAD modeling using SolidWorks and Creo . Key Responsibilities Perform linear and non-linear static structural, dynamic, and thermal analyses using ANSYS to assess product performance and integrity. Prepare and clean up CAD geometry for simulation using SolidWorks and Creo . Develop high-quality finite element models, including meshing, applying boundary conditions, and defining material properties. Analyze and interpret simulation results to provide actionable design recommendations and drive product optimization. Collaborate closely with design engineers to understand product requirements and provide feedback on design feasibility. Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations to communicate simulation findings to internal teams. Develop and validate new simulation methodologies to enhance analysis accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications and Skills Required: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. 2+ years of professional experience in structural analysis using ANSYS Mechanical . Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling with SolidWorks and Creo Parametric . Solid understanding of fundamental engineering principles, including solid mechanics, material science, and heat transfer. Experience with pre-processing (geometry cleanup, meshing) and post-processing (results interpretation). Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
