Structural Engineer as Project Coordinator -MEP

Position Summary

We are looking for a Structural Engineer with 4–5 years of experience who can act as a Project Coordinator between clients, architects, consultants, and contractors. The candidate should have strong technical expertise in structural design and analysis, along with proven ability to manage coordination across multiple disciplines to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective project delivery.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Technical

• Review and interpret architectural drawings for structural feasibility.
• Assist in structural design calculations, analysis, and detailing (concrete, steel, foundations, etc.).
• Verify compliance with IS codes, NBC, and local building regulations.
• Check structural drawings and shop drawings for accuracy and coordination.

Project Coordination

• Act as a liaison between structural consultants, architects, MEP consultants, and contractors.
• Coordinate design deliverables and resolve discrepancies between different disciplines.
• Track project milestones, timelines, and ensure smooth flow of structural information.
• Support project managers in preparing technical reports, BOQs, and documentation.

Site Support

• Conduct periodic site visits to verify structural works as per drawings and specifications.
• Resolve technical queries raised by contractors at site.
• Ensure proper implementation of structural safety and quality standards on site.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 4–5 years of experience in structural engineering and project coordination.
• Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD; Revit Structures knowledge preferred.
• Strong understanding of RCC, steel, and foundation design principles.
• Good knowledge of construction practices, IS codes, and QA/QC procedures.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Background

• Experience in Industrial / ECC Structures
• Exposure to high-rise structures, seismic/wind design, and value engineering.
• Prior experience in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and clients is an added advantage

Location – Delhi

Salary – 12,00,000/- – 15,00,000/- per annum.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
