Job Description

As a Strategic Sales Manager for Security Solutions at Johnson Controls, your main role will be to deliver sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives and facilitate the expansion of the customer base in the assigned geography. You will specifically focus on managing Strategic Growth Verticals such as Transportation, Oil & Gas, and Power, positioning Tyco Security Solutions by JCI as a key Integrated Solution provider in large projects across these sectors. Your responsibilities will include: - Achieving sales objectives through new customer acquisition, account mining, and development - Providing strategic inputs and market intelligence to the management about the assigned territory - Maintaining and expanding the customer and partner base through effective territory management - Collaborating with internal stakeholders for approvals, solutions, and more To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: - Bachelor of Engineering and/or MBA - 8-10 years of industry experience in sales, solution architecture, or business development for large & complex opportunities - 5+ years of experience in the Security Industry, preferably with a reputable OEM - Strong communication, presentation, and people handling skills - Knowledge of solutions required for the Retail industry - Familiarity with applications such as ERP, Industrial IoT, and Analytics In addition to your core responsibilities, you will also be expected to work closely with Partners, HO, marketing, pre-sales, and the product development team to define, evolve, and expand the solutions offering. Your ability to engage with consultants, architects, partners, and contractors to position Tyco Security Solutions in upcoming projects will be crucial for success.
