Job Description

Role Purpose:

To architect and deliver a future-ready learning ecosystem that powers growth, performance, and pride across Haldirams. The role will lead capability-building through the Haldirams Skills Academy and Learning Management System (LMS), enabling every employee from frontline to leadership to learn, perform, and thrive. By combining digital innovation with cultural roots, this role will make learning an everyday experience that fuels business excellence and customer delight.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Learning Strategy & Academy Development

  • Build and operationalize the Haldirams Skills Academy as the central hub for learning, capability development, and certification.
  • Define the Academys learning architecture- core, functional, leadership, and values-based programs.
  • Create structured learning journeys for various roles ensuring readiness, consistency, and scalability.
  • Integrate business goals and cultural values into all learning programs.

2. LMS Ownership & Digital Learning

  • Own and manage the Learning Management System (LMS) end-to-end, ensuring content relevance, engagement, and smooth user experience.
  • Curate and upload modules, track completion, and ensure data-driven insights are shared with business stakeholders.
  • Drive adoption of LMS across all levels through communication campaigns and gamified learning interventions.
  • Partner with internal and external experts to build a library of high-quality, bite-sized learning content.

3. Capability Development

  • Design and implement learning programs for frontline employees, managers, and leaders focused on both skill and mindset transformation.
  • Develop structured onboarding programs ensuring consistent induction and cultural alignment.
  • Collaborate with business heads to address function-specific training needs and capability gaps.
  • Build certification frameworks that validate role readiness and excellence.

4. Leadership & Talent Readiness

  • Design and roll out leadership development programs aligned with the organizations growth and succession strategy.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to identify and groom high-potential employees.
  • Strengthen the managerial pipeline by embedding leadership behaviors in daily work practices.

5. Learning Effectiveness & Analytics

  • Establish KPIs and dashboards to measure training coverage, engagement, and performance outcomes.
  • Use LMS analytics, surveys, and feedback loops to assess learning impact and continuously refine programs.
  • Present quarterly capability-building scorecards to leadership showcasing business impact and skill transformation.

6. Collaboration & Culture Integration

  • Partner with the Strategic Lead- Employee Experience to integrate learning moments across the employee journey.
  • Build a network of Learning Champions across units to sustain a culture of curiosity and growth.
  • Ensure all learning initiatives reflect Haldirams values of craftsmanship, humility, and excellence.

Key Competencies:

  • Strategic thinking with a strong grasp of adult learning principles.
  • Hands-on experience with LMS implementation, administration, and analytics.
  • Strong instructional design and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into structured learning solutions.
  • Storytelling, influencing, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Educational Qualification:

MBA/PGDM in Human Resources, Learning Sciences, or Organizational Psychology.

Experience:

8-12 years of experience in Learning & Development, Capability Building, or Organizational Development preferably in FMCG, QSR, or Retail sectors. Experience managing an LMS or Learning Academy is essential.
