Stores In charge Site Accountant, Accountant & Supervisors

Position: Site Accountant

• Maintain daily cash book and site-level expense registers.
• Process vendor invoices, subcontractor bills, and ensure supporting documents are complete.
• Perform bank reconciliation and maintain petty cash records.
• Assist in preparation of site MIS, cost sheets, and budget tracking.

2. Documentation & Compliance

• Ensure all vouchers, receipts, and bills are properly documented and filed.
• Coordinate with HO for statutory requirements (GST invoices, TDS details, etc.)
• Maintain timely submission of reports and statements.

3. Coordination

• Work closely with Site Engineers, Stores, and HO Accounts.
• Follow up with vendors/subcontractors regarding bills and payments.
• Support site audits and physical verifications.

4. Reporting

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly site accounting reports.
• Highlight variations in expenditure vs budget.

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of Tally ERP / accounting software.
• Strong Excel & documentation skills.
• Accuracy, integrity, and ability to work independently at site.

• Maintain company-wide ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
• Process vendor payments, subcontractor bills, and inter-branch transactions.
• Handle bank reconciliations, monthly closing, and cash flow statements.

2. Statutory & Compliance

• Manage GST returns, TDS deductions, PF/ESI coordination, and audit support.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and Indian taxation norms.
• Prepare balance sheet schedules and support statutory/internal audits.

3. Financial Reporting & MIS

• Prepare monthly MIS reports, project cost summaries, and profitability analysis.
• Assist in budgeting and financial planning.
• Monitor payments, receivables, and aging analysis.

4. Coordination

• Liaise with project site accountants for daily reporting.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, vendors, and management.

Desired Skills

• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP & Excel.
• Understanding of statutory compliances (GST, TDS, audit processes).
• Good analytical and communication skills.

• Receive materials as per Purchase Order and prepare GRN (Goods Receipt Note).
• Verify quantity, quality, material specifications with delivery challans.
• Coordinate with Engineers for inspection and approval.

2. Material Storage & Handling

• Ensure proper stacking and storage of materials, consumables, tools & equipment.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the store area.
• Track and store materials category-wise to avoid losses/damage.

3. Inventory Management

• Maintain daily stock register (manual or ERP).
• Issue materials based on authorized material requisition slips (MR).
• Conduct weekly/monthly stock audits and reconcile with Accounts.
• Track slow-moving and critical materials; notify shortages in advance.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain GRNs, MRNs, issue slips, stock registers, and material logs.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports.
• Support billing teams with material consumption data.

5. Coordination

• Coordinate with procurement, project managers, and HO Stores.
• Follow up with suppliers for pending material deliveries.

Desired Skills

• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel mandatory).
• Experience in ERP or inventory tools (preferred).
• Attention to detail, responsibility, and discipline.
• Understanding of civil/mechanical/electrical materials used in infrastructure projects.
